In July 2026, the book Transnational History in China–Current Debates and Case Studies in Translation will be published (2 volumes, open access). The anthology of 34 texts of contemporary Chinese and Taiwanese historians introduces current debates on transnational and global history, covering ten fields of historical research: conceptual history, environmental history, the history of translation, women’s history, maritime history, history of overseas students, historical nihilism, New Qing history, new revolutionary history, and the history of spatial conceptualizations in Sino-Foreign interactions.
